When does the Rodeo start?
Gates open at 6:30PM
Market & Food Vendors | 6:30PM – Close

Will there be kids’ events like Calf Scramble where my kids can participate?
Yes, but get there early to sign up. The Calf Scramble and Boot Scramble Events start at 7:00pm.

Where is parking and how much does it cost?
Parking is FREE at Sanden International (601 Sanden Blvd) and includes FREE shuttle service which will take you directly to the main gate. Shuttle service will be continuous in both directions for the entirety of the event. VIP Parking for Sponsors with a valid placard is available at Founders Park with shuttle service.

Where do we buy tickets? How much are tickets?
All tickets are available at the ticket gate on the night of the event. Pre-Sale tickets are available online at WylieRodeo.com (no refunds, no exceptions).

General Admission Adult: $20
General Admission Child (ages 4-12): $5
General Admission Senior (ages 62+): $5
Children 3 and under are FREE!

Are there age considerations for special ticket pricing?
Yes, Seniors (ages 62+) and Children (ages 4 to 12) are $5. Children 3 and under are FREE!

Do you offer any group packages or upgrades?
Yes, we offer a family 4 pack for 2 adults and 2 children for $45 (a $50 value) which is available to purchase online or at the gate. We also offer Reserved Seating to all attendees for an additional $15 per person. These are available at the Reserved Sales booth at the arena's southwest corner, until sold out.

What are Reserved Seats?
This guarantees a seat in the Reserved Section in the West Grandstand and includes popcorn, courtesy of Deanan Popcorn, beverage service (sodas and water), and a commemorative 30th Anniversary keychain. Seat selection is assigned on a first-come basis. For the best seat selection, arrive early. There is a limited number of Reserved Seats available for purchase. Reserved Seats are $15, in addition to the General Admission ticket, and can be purchased at the southwest corner of the arena.

Is there handicap parking and are the grounds wheelchair accessible?
Yes, handicap parking is available adjacent to the ticket gate. Show your handicap placard to the attendant at Guy Poole Drive. There is handicap seating at the arena, but do keep in mind that there are no paved sidewalks and wheelchairs will be on the grass/dirt.

How can I buy tickets at the gate?
Cash and all major credit cards are accepted at the ticket gate.

Can we bring outside food or drinks?
Please, no glass or outside food or beverages. Only one unopened water bottle is allowed, per person. Cold water will be available on site for $1.

What else should we leave at home?
The Rodeo Grounds are on Wylie ISD property and, in compliance with Texas Penal Codes § 46.03, § 38.006, and § 101.75, firearms, weapons, ammo, tobacco, drugs, or alcohol are not allowed. Please leave them at home.

What is the schedule of Rodeo events?
It can vary depending on the number of entries in a specific event, but a normal schedule is as follows: Grand Entry, Bareback, Broncs, Tie-Down Roping, Women’s Break Away Roping, Junior Bareback, Team Roping, Barrel Racing, and then Bull Riding to end the evening.

Are there official event t-shirts available?
Official 30th Anniversary Wylie Championship Rodeo shirt sales are located near the main ticket gate. Cash and all major credit cards are accepted. Pricing varies.

What’s the address?
There is no parking available at the arena, but if you are a vendor or Rodeo participant, the best address to enter into your map is Guy Poole Drive, Wylie, TX 75098 or search Google Maps for Wylie Rodeo Grounds. That will get you to the private road near the arena and we will guide you in from there. All others should utilize the FREE parking at Sanden International and take the FREE shuttle to the entrance gate.

Is the Rodeo rain or shine?
Yes. As long as weather isn’t a safety issue, the Rodeo will go on!

How do I enter the Grand Entry?
You need to show up at the arena by 7:00pm and you must have proof of a negative Coggins to be allowed in the Grand Entry.

How do I enter as a Rodeo participant?
Visit https://rodeoprogram.com/upraresults/rgn1rsinfo.htm to view registration information which begins Wednesday, August 30.
